Remote Synchronisation

Remote synchronisation is the process whereby a stand-alone user or remote site can exchange data with the main GoldMine system and vice-versa. This means that the user or site will have an independent copy of GoldMine on their PC or LAN which will update at agreed times using an agreed connection method e.g. a modem or an IP to IP connection. A user will choose to synchronise if they have a requirement to see the GoldMine data in circumstances where no connection method is available e.g. in their car or where access to the Internet is unavailable. Synchronisation management is built into GoldMine Corporate Edtion for each user - unlike some products where an additional charge is levied for this functionality.
