Kris Daniels
Managing Director

After leaving the Royal Marines, Kris formed Solve-IT in December 2004 and has managed the growth of the business, both in terms of the client base and number of employees. Kris and his wife Lynsey have two sons and in his spare time, Kris enjoys running and watching rugby.

Esther Cooper
Finance Manager

Esther handles all financial aspects of the business. She enjoys a challenge and always goes the extra mile to ensure everything is correct. In her spare time she enjoys embroidery, crafting and spending time with her son, who is usually found playing with his toy cars.

Philip Cowlard
Senior Service Desk Engineer

With over 15 years of experience in the IT support environment, Philip came to us after having spent many years working for a nationwide market leader in their sector, Philip is passionate in helping others overcome IT issues and enabling them to become more confident with technology. Phil enjoys training for extreme obstacle course races all over the country.

Kalvyn Knightjoy
Senior Service Desk Engineer

Kalvyn specialises in Office 365 solutions and technical fixes for the Service Desk. Kalvyn enjoys getting to grips with new products and how these can be best used to improve the IT environment for our clients. In his spare time he enjoys gaming, Netflix and exploring the countryside.

Chris Parks
Marketing Director

With over 50 years experience in IT, Chris has worked for many different organisations including the NHS and English China Clay. He has been part of Solve-IT since the early days and continues to support the team in a number of areas. Outside of work, Chris enjoys watching Exmouth Rugby and holidaying in Baros.

Grace Lee-Smith
Business Support Manager

Grace is your point of contact for non-Service Desk enquiries, including video conferencing and conference room bookings. She ensures the smooth running of Solve-IT and manages our social media. She also enjoys cycling in the local area, baking and sampling the odd gin and tonic!

Tom Rookes
Senior Service Desk Engineer

Tom has over 5 years experience in the IT managed services sector specialising in server maintenance. Tom enjoys helping clients with all areas of their IT environment. In his spare time he is often busy doing DIY and exploring the local area.

Jack Dale
Service Desk Engineer

Jack has been gaining experience in the IT industry for over 4 years, attaining his Level 4 IT Systems and Telecoms qualification. He enjoys playing badminton, climbing and caving in his spare time. Weather permitting, he also enjoys hiking and camping on the moors and volunteers with the Ten Tors Challenge on Dartmoor.

Matt Drake
Dashboard Engineer

Matt is from the local area and entered the IT industry from the Royal Marines after sustaining a life changing injury in service. He is CompTIA A+ and Network+ qualified and has been developing his IT knowledge and proficiency through embarking on more advanced courses in the coming months. In his spare time, he enjoys building and tinkering with desktop computers and honing his code writing skills.

Rhys works part-time with Solve-IT whilst he continues his studies and his journey into higher education. Rhys is another integral part of our Dashboard Team, and works with our clients to ensure that they are never left behind when new releases and patches are available. In his spare time Rhys enjoys playing rugby, hockey and is keen to begin playing lacrosse at university.
